Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists are trained to help people maximize their potential in a variety of everyday living skills. A child’s occupation is to gain skills along a developmental pathway. These skills include feeding, dressing, bathing, motor, and behavior tasks. Occupational therapists specialize in breaking down each skill into smaller components. This enables us to analyze where the difficulty lies and provide the “just right” challenge to further skill development. This all happens through play!
